Virat Kohli Again captain for RCB in IPL 2022

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, February 25 announced that the IPL 2022 with 10 teams will get underway on March 26 and the final will be played on May 29. In recent development more possibility that Virat Kohli Again captain for RCB in IPL 2022.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega-auction in January. And searching for new captain but some reports says that Virat Kohli will be a captain for RCB in IPL 2022. RCB have retained Virat Kohli (INR 15 crore), Glenn Maxwell (INR 11 crore), and Mohammed Siraj (INR 6 crore) ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction in January.

They will be heading into the auction with a purse of INR 57 crore. Having never won the IPL title, they have finished the runners-up in one season and ended up as the lowest-ranked team in the next and their fluctuating fortunes have baffled experts and fans alike. Cut to 2021 and Virat Kohli journey as RCB captain ended on a sour note on his team lost the Eliminator against KKR in Sharjah.

Virat Kohli had announced at the beginning of phase 2 of the 2021 edition of the IPL in the UAE that he will quit as captain of the side after this season. As per some reports says RCB plan to give one more chance to Virat Kohli to lead team in IPL 2022. RCB may have changed coaches every season since 2016, but they have unshakable faith in Virat Kohli, who has said that he too will stay loyal to the franchise and play for the same team till his last match in the IPL.
