Team India will likely Travel to Pakistan after 17 years

Team India is likely to tour Pakistan after 17 long years as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly been given the hosting rights for the 2023 Asia Cup. As per Cricbuzz, the decision to grant PCB hosting rights was unanimous and the sources confirmed the same.

It will be interesting to see if Pakistan can host the tournament or if it moves to the UAE. The PCB is now hosting its home games in Pakistan and will receive the hosting rights, Team India should go there in 2023.

Since there will be a 50-over World Championship in 2023, the tournament will be played in a 50-over format. In 2018, the tournament was held in a 50-over format. Due to the political relations between the two countries, India and Pakistan only compete in ICC events and Asia Cups. Most recently, they competed at the 2019 World Cup in Great Britain.
