Pakistan produced a brilliant performance against New Zealand to book a berth in the final of the T20 World Cup on Wednesday. Chasing a 152-run target, Pakistan received a massive boost as their opener, Mohammad Rizwan (57) and Babar Azam (53) returned to run-scoring as the side registered a 7-wicket victory in Sydney. They will now take on England or India in the final on Sunday T20 World Cup 2022. Earlier, an unbeaten half-century by Daryl Mitchell, guided New Zealand to 152/4 after 20 overs, against Pakistan in the first semi-final match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, at Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday. Opted to bat first New Zealand lost early wickets as Finn Allen and Devon Conway departed early.
