Sri Lanka vs India 2nd T20 Postponed: Krunal Pandya Tests COVID Positive

India’s second T20 International against Sri Lanka has been postponed after all-rounder Krunal Pandya tested positive for Covid-19 hours before scheduled start of play on Tuesday. Both the Indian and Sri Lankan teams have been put in isolation.

The players who were in close contact with Krunal Pandya will be monitored closely. The match has been postponed by a day as of now, but it looks difficult for the game to be played out on Wednesday. India had won the ODI series 2-1 and were leading 1-0 in the T20I series.

The start of the ODI series was also postponed after the batting coach and the video analyst of the Sri Lankan team had tested positive for Covid-19.
