Inzamam-ul-Haq Heart Attack: Discharged from The Hospital

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has been discharged from hospital after suffering a heart attack. Inzamam had reportedly been complaining of chest pain for three days, before tests on Monday revealed the 51-year-old had suffered a heart attack.

The former Pakistan skipper underwent a successful angioplasty on Monday evening. The former middle-order batsman, who shot to global prominence during Pakistan’s World Cup-winning 1992 campaign, had been complaining about chest pain over the last three days.

Initial testing cleared him but tests on Monday revealed he had suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed for surgery. According to his agent, Inzamam-ul-Haq was stable but was under observation. The 51-year-old who is Pakistan’s highest run-getter in ODIs is their third-highest scorer in Tests.
