Either Bishnoi or Kumble should leave PBKS, ‘He’ll rest Bumrah and play Praveen Kumar’: Twitter slams Kumble

Fans were amused when the Punjab Kings made some notable omissions in their Playing XI for the 31st game of the 2021 IPL against Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on Tuesday. Punjab Kings left out Chris Gayle from their team on the batsman’s 42nd birthday, which did not go down well with fans, but people on Twitter were even more miffed knowing that Ravi Bishnoi found no place either.

The fans immediately started pointing the finger at PBKS head coach Anil Kumble and blamed him for the decision. Leg spinner Bishnoi, who won 12 wickets from 14 games last season, only played four games and won four wickets in the IPL 2021.

The backlash comes after reports that after Ravi Shastri’s tenure expires, Kumble could be the front runner to become the next Indian head coach, and fans are already concerned about the combinations the former Indian weirdo would go for if re-appointed will. Here are some of the tweets.
