RCB vs DD: Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Delhi Capitals on March 5

The first season of the Women’s Premier League is set to begin on March 4. The first match of WPL 2023 will be played between Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants (GG) and Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium from 7.30 PM. RCB vs DD: Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Delhi Capitals on March 5.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the few IPL teams that also bought a team in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Led by Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bangalore already has witnessed a good fan base and the fans would be hoping that their team performs well.

Smriti Mandhana finished as India’s highest run-getter in the recently concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 and would be high on confidence and momentum. Mandhana was sold for a whopping amount of Rs. 3.4 crores. She also became the costliest player in the auctions.

Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh, and Meghan Schutt are some of the other vital cogs in the wheels of Royal Challengers Bangalore and they certainly are one of the strongest teams in the league, which starts on 4th March 2023. Delhi Capitals (DC) spend the least amount of money in WPL 2023 auction, which took place in Mumbai on Feb 13.

DC spends 11.65 crores to buy 18 players in the auction. Jemimah Rodrigues was the most expensive player (2.20 cr) for the capitals. The Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals matches in Women’s Premier League 2023 will be telecasted live on the Sports18 channel in India.
