Late at night, he had to be taken to the hospital. According to media reports, Maxwell was under the influence of alcohol. Cricket Australia (CA) is now investigating Maxwell’s case. According to ‘Daily Telegraph’, Maxwell was drunk and was watching a concert by former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee’s band ‘Six and Out’.
During this time, the Australian batsman fell ill. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. However, after some time Maxwell was discharged from the hospital and returned home. Cricket Australia is seeking more information about the incident involving Glenn Maxwell this weekend, according to reports.

About this, Cricket Australia said, “It is not a question of replacing him in the ODI squad. A decision will be taken after the Big Bash League and based on his personal management plans. Maxwell is expected to return to the T20 series.”
Glenn Maxwell out from ODI series against West Indies:
These days Australia is playing two Test match at home against West Indies. The first Test match was played and the hosts Australia won by 10 wickets. The Test will be followed by a three-match ODI series between Australia and West Indies from Friday, February 2. Australia have announced their squad for the ODI series, excluding Glenn Maxwell.
