The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is preparing for the IPL 2023 Auction. The auction will take place in Bengaluru on December 16 and will be a one-day affair. However, with the salary purse increasing to Rs 95 Crore, some players could break the record of most expensive players. In recent development some report predict that may Ravindra Jadeja enter RCB for IPL 2023.
Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are reportedly heading for an unceremonious divorce ahead of IPL 2023 season. There have been multiple reports of trouble in paradise as Jadeja deleted all posts related to CSK from his social media handles almost months back, and even unfollowed the franchise.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been one team that have always had superstars in the lineup, whose presence have lifted the group and taken them to the latter stages of the tournament. However, they have always struggled with depth and balance, and have lacked a proper all-rounder in the middle.
BCCI Cricket in India Chennai Super Kings (CSK) former captain and India top all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja could be a perfect fit in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lineup given that Jadeja, not only can contribute as a frontline spinner, but also has been one of the best finishers with the bat, in recent times. Also, considering the fact that RCB have never won an IPL, having a former winner in the camp could be a lucky charm.
In order to buy Ravindra Jadeja, RCB might have to let go of players such as David Willey or Shahbaz Ahmed. Willey, who was a big signing in the previous auction, went on to play only four games. Shahbaz, on the other hand, was a regular starter in the team but has a similar role as Jadeja. Hence, Shahbaz might make way for a big signing.

With the report that there is no contact between Ravindra Jadeja and CSK, it is likely that he would be the biggest attraction. It is almost certain that Jadeja is parting ways with the Chennai franchise. It is said that RCB fans are already requesting the team management on social media to bring Jadeja to the RCB for IPL 2023.
