Lucknow Team for IPL 2022: Before Mega Auction select 11 players

IPL 2022 mega auction count down starts. All 8 franchise announced their Retained players. New franchise Lucknow team make final and just wait to sign with KL Rahul as a captain.  And some report says Lucknow team for IPL 2022 new franchise made a list of 11 players before Mega Auction.

RPSG Group of Sanjiv Goenka is one of the winners of the 2 IPL new team auctions which was hosted by BCCI in Dubai in October 25, 2021. RPSG Group of Sanjiv Goenka won the bid war for a whopping 7090 crore (over 932 million USD). The RPSG bid was 250% more than BCCI’s base price of INR 2000 Crores for the IPL team.

RPSG Group of Sanjiv Goenka is the owner of the Lucknow IPL Team. RPSG Group won the bidding war for 7090 crores (over 932 million USD) to own the Lucknow team. anjiv Goenka was a former President of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) as well as the All India Management Institute (AIMA), and a member of the Prime Minister’s Council on Trade & Industry.

Big Players such as KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Faf du Plessis, Rashid Khan, Ishan Kishan, and Yujavendra Chahal are available for the auction. Meanwhile, the Lucknow team is planning to build a well-equipped team under the leadership of KL Rahul.

KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis will start the innings as openers in Lucknow team. Is wicket keeper Ishan Kishan playing in the third order, while Manish Pandey is playing in the fourth. Shahrukh Khan played in the fifth, while the sixth-ranked all-rounder Ben Stokes reserved.

IPL 2021 Purple cap holder Harshal Patel played in the seventh, while eighth-order spinner Rasheed Khan. Kagiso Rabada will play ninth and pacer Trent Boult in the tenth, Yuvavendra Chahal will play eleven. If the same team can be bought at auction, the Lucknow team is likely to be the strongest.
