LSG vs GT IPL 2023: Time, Place and Best Playing 11

The 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will see the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) take on Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday, 3:30pm April 22. LSG vs GT IPL 2023: Time, Place and Best Playing 11.

The Lucknow Super Giants come into the game on the back of a big win against the Rajasthan Royals. While the likes of KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran have shown glimpses of their form with the bat, it has been Lucknow’s bowling unit that has consistently delivered the goods.

LSG are now up against defending champions Gujarat Titans, who have won three out of their five matches so far. They have a resourceful side with an equally impressive bowling attack to fall back on as well. The Titans have won three out of five games this season and are placed in the fourth position in the points table.

In their previous game, they also faced the Royals but failed to cross the winning line. The Titans scored 177 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs while batting first on the back of a solid batting performance from the middle order.

The Royals scored only 26 runs in the powerplay, their lowest this season so far. Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer stabilised the innings with their respective half-centuries. Hetmyer scored 56 runs off 26 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award.
