The Manish Pandey-led Gulbarga Mystics won the KSCA Maharaja Trophy T20 tournament under the auspices of the Karnataka State Cricket Association. Gulbarga Mystics won the title by defeating the Mayank Agarwal-led Bangalore Blasters team by 11 runs in an exciting final match held at the M. After losing the toss and batting first, the Gulbarga team scored a massive total of 220 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Young left-arm opener Rohan Patil scored 38 runs off 21 balls (6 fours, 1 six), Jeswant Acharya scored 39 runs off 17 balls (3 fours, 3 sixes), Devdutt Padikkal scored an unbeaten 56 off 42 balls (5 fours, 1 six) and captain Manish Pandey scored 17 runs. Chasing a tough target to win the final, the Bangalore Blasters team lost five wickets including captain Mayang Agarwal (16), Aniruddha Joshi (7) and J. Suchit (5) before scoring 63 runs. But the starters LR Chetan and Kranti Kumar, who joined for the 6th wicket, brought the team back on track and put a 98-run partnership. But Chetan, who scored 91 runs in 40 balls with the help of 6 fours and 8 sixes, got out in the last ball of the 15th over, Blasters faced another shock.

In the first ball of the 17th over, Kranti Kumar (47 runs in 21 balls; 3 fours, 3 sixes) was also dismissed, and the defeat of the Bangalore Blasters team was confirmed. In the end, Blasters managed to score 209 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and settled for the runners-up position.

Gulbarga Mystics captain Manish Pandey who scored an explosive 41 runs won the man of the match award, while Rohan Patil who scored a total of 397 runs throughout the tournament emerged as the man of the match.
