Tenpin Bowling Tournament: Parvez Ahmed defeated Akaash Ashok Kumar in the Finals of the Karnataka State Ranking Tenpin. Bowling Tournament which concluded at Amoeba Bowling Center, Church Street, Bengaluru.
In Karnataka State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament Finals played based on cumulative pinfall of two games, Parvez started with 4 strikes in a row and bowled a clean first game scoring 235 to gain the lead of 40 pins over Akaash (235 – 195). In Game 2, Parvez continued his good form with another clean game scoring 198 as against 144 scored by Akaash, defeating Akaash by 94 pins (433-339) to claim the title.
Earlier in the day, in the First Semi-Finals, top seed Parvez won against 4th seed Anurag Poddar by 49 pins (392 – 343). And in the other Semi-Finals 2nd seed Akaash Ashok Kumar won against 3rd seed Kishan R by 36 pins (419-383). Total of 45 bowlers participated in the Tournament
