JFL will try to make waves in the world of junior football and create a brighter future for the sport in India. “Currently, very few players from Karnataka are being represented at the top level in football, either at the ISL or in the national team.

Our objective is to organize grassroot level competitive leagues to develop young players locally who can then progress and represent the state at the national level. To highlight the importance of this league, we would like to use this opportunity to show our support to a few outstanding achievers who have managed to reach the top level in the sport.

We hope that through more events and leagues like ours, we can one day inspire more players to represent our state at the highest level,” said a spokesperson for JFL.

The launch event on 16th May was graced by some of the most notable personalities from the football fraternity in Karnataka and will be felicitated for their dedication and hard work towards the development of the football community in the state.
