Ahmedabad teams would need to get their negotiation arm strong as Iyer may also demand a higher salary. As understood, In IPL 2022 new team should not have any issue giving INR 15 Cr or 11 Cr to Shreyas Iyer.

IPL 2022 Talks are lauded that another new franchise Lucknow plan to take Big Players such as KL Rahul, David Warner, Rashid Khan. If they fail to take definitely Ahmedabad will grab these players also. And Hardik Pandya and Yujavendra Chahal are available for the auction. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad team is planning to build a well-equipped team under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer.

Faf du Plessis has been one of the most consistent openers in IPL in the last two years. Given the limited options to retain, CSK let go of their star opener for Moeen Ali; who was equally good as a player.
