Standing captain Pat Cummins, who was ruled out of the South Africa tour due to injury, will lead the team in the ODI series against India. Team India, which is currently playing the final of the Asia Cup 2023, will then play a three-match ODI series against Australia before the World Cup 2023.

Cricket Australia has now announced an 18-member squad for the series. Permanent captain Pat Cummins, who was ruled out of the South Africa tour due to injury, will lead the team in the ODI series against India. Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green have also joined the team who have recovered from injury.

Also, Test specialist Marnus Labuschagne, who was allowed in the team for the one-day series against South Africa, will also play for the team in the one-day series against India. The team’s explosive left-arm batsman Travis Head, who injured his hand during the ODI series against South Africa, has not been selected for the ODI series.

Also, it is reported that there is a possibility that Head will miss not only the series against India but also the World Cup 2023. Due to Travis Head’s injury, now Marnus Labuschagne has been selected for the India tour and there is a possibility that Labuschagne will play in the World Cup 2023 as well.

India vs Australia ODI Series Schedule: 

The ODI series between India and Australia will start from September 22. The first match will be played in Mohali. The second match will be held on September 24 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, while the third match will be held in Saurashtra on September 27.
