Ind vs Aus 2nd Test: India’s star batter will join the team for 2nd test

India vs Australia 2nd Test: Shreyas Iyer, who was out of the first test against Australia due to injury, is now ready to join the Indian team for the second test. After winning the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, India is now gearing up for the second Test match. In the first match, the Kangaroo team was bowled out for a small amount after being overwhelmed by the Jadeja-Ashwin spin attack. Team India bowling force is strong. Apart from Rohit Sharma, Jadeja and Axar Patel, other batsmen failed in the first Test. Therefore, Rohit’s team is ready to add another batsman to the team. Shreyas Iyer, who was out of the first test due to injury, is now ready to join the Indian team for the second test. Currently, Iyer is undergoing treatment at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore and is awaiting a fitness test.

Shreyas Iyer, who suffered back pain before the start of the ODI series against New Zealand, did not recover by the time of the first Test against the Aussies. Therefore, BCCI said that he will be considered for selection from the 2nd test Ind vs Aus. Shreyas Iyer, who is now fully recovered, will undergo a fitness test on Tuesday. If he passes this, he will travel to Delhi on Thursday and join the team. He is almost certain to get a place in the playing eleven.

Suryakumar Yadav and KS Bharat, two players who made their debut in the first Test, failed to perform well. Iyer will fill the place of one of these two. Shreyas Iyer, who has played 12 innings in 7 Test matches for India, has scored a total of 624 runs at an average of 65. This time he scored 1 century and 5 fifties. Through this, he has become the middle order batting power of Team India.

The second Test match between India and Australia will be played from February 17 to February 21 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Having already won the first match, Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the four-match Test series.
