Australia won the first test at Adelaide Oval.Australia resumed day four in Melbourne on 133 for six in their second innings and battled to 200, setting India 70 to win.
After the debacle in Adelaide, India needed to boost their confidence and they did exactly that by winning the match in Melbourne comfortably. Rahane will get a lot of plaudits for the way he has led the side against Australia.
