Sydney: India are set to play their first international match after the coronavirus pandemic brought a halt to sporting activities in March 2020. On Friday, India will kick start their tour of Australia with the first ODI in Sydney.
The rivalry between the two teams has always been fierce and it is likely to be the same in this series as well. After the first game on Friday in Sydney, the second match will be played on Sunday at the same venue. The teams will then travel to the Manuka Oval in Canberra for the 3rd ODI on Wednesday.
The absence of an injured Rohit Sharma will certainly leave a gaping hole at the top of the order but as Aaron Finch declared, India still is top class side even without there best ODI batsman.
