The preparations for the Indian Premier League IPL 2022 are in full swing and the franchises are gearing up for the much-awaited mega-auction which takes place next month. The 8 IPL franchises had submitted their list of retained players in November 2021 and now it is time for the 2 new teams to pick 3 players before the auction. Deepak Chahar reveals a secret about CSK player.

While the BCCI is yet to confirm the date of the IPL 2022 auction, a report in Cricbuzz recently suggested that the two-day event will take place on February 12 and 13. Bengaluru has been inked as the venue for the mega event. As per the rules, the two new teams are allowed to pick 3 players each before the mega auction. KL Rahul is reportedly on his way to lead the Lucknow-based IPL team while there is no report regarding the Ahmedabad-based franchise.

All the teams have a purse of Rs 90 crore going into the auction. In IPL 2022 Since the 8 teams have already retained a few players, they won’t have their full purse at the auction. Each of the ten teams were given a purse of Rs 90 crore before retention. Of it, the eight teams were allowed to spend up to Rs 42 crore on retaining players. The purse of the remaining teams are: Punjab Kings Rs 72 Crore, Sunrisers Hyderabad Rs 68 Crore, Rajasthan Royals Rs 62 Crore, Royal Challengers Bangalore Rs 57 Crore, Chennai Super Kings Rs 48 Crore, Kolkata Knight Riders Rs 48 Crore, Mumbai Indians Rs 48 Crore, Delhi Capitals Rs 47.5 Crore.

West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo has retired from international cricket but continues to play the franchise cricket. He has not been retained by Chennai Super Kings ahead of the mega auction 2022 but he has assured his fans that he will throw himself into the auction pool and see whether he is still a hot property in the cash-rich league.

“I am not retained by the CSK, but I will be in the auction, I will be 100 per cent in the auction. I do not know which team I will end up with. I will end up where I am destined to be. I do not know whether I will be picked up by CSK or not, I can be picked up by any other team as I am in the auction,” Bravo had told to media. While his cricketing skills is well known all over the world, what is not known is that Bravo has three girlfriends. India and CSK pacer Deepak Chahar revealed this fact on The Kapil Sharma Show once.

Host Kapil Sharma started the conversation with a joke with his guests Parthiv Patel, Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Chahar on how colourful the lifestyle of West Indian cricketers is. He said that in Chris Gayle’s parties, there is a lot of colour and all his ex-girlfriends are also part of the party with his wife.

Adding to the conversation, Chahar said Bravo also lives the same kind of lifestyle and has three girlfriends. He also went on to say that Bravo comes with a different girlfriend every year to IPL. He said, “Bravo has three girlfriends, and he has kids with all three of them. He is not married to any one of them. This is the culture over there. He has a new girlfriend with him every year.”
