West Indies have defeated India by 8 wickets at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill. It was Brendon King who played an outstanding knock of 85 runs in just 55 balls, helping his side win the first bilateral series since 2016. Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the T20 series against Ireland. Along with Pandya, other key players have been rested from this series. In the wake of the T20 series defeat against West Indies, BCCI gave a shock to T20 Captain Hardik Pandya, Pandya was dropped from the series against Ireland.

Along with them, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, Axar Patel and Ishan Kishan, Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal have been ruled out of the series. Along with them some other young players will return to India from West Indies. Team India is all set to play against Ireland in a three-match T20I Series. The India vs Ireland T20I Series 2023 will start on 18 August 2023.
