CSK 2 top players ruled out from current series before IPL 2022

The players of the team are getting injured continuously while playing for the Indian team. During the recently concluded India-West Indies T20 series, Chennai’s costliest player Deepak Chahar was ruled out of the Sri Lanka series due to injury. After this, retained batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has also been ruled out of the Sri Lanka series due to injury.

In the third and final T20 match against West Indies, Deepak suffered a muscle strain in his right leg, after which he had to walk off the field. Injuries to Deepak and Ruturaj Gaikwad can become a matter of concern for CSK captain MS Dhoni. Ruturaj, who played the role of an opener for the team last season, complained of pain in his right wrist just before the first T20 match against Sri Lanka at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

After this, the BCCI medical team after examining him declared him unfit to play. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) got place in group B with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Gujarat Titans.
