BCCI Finally Announced Team India Coach for next 2 year

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reappointed Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Rahul Dravid’s tenure ended after the ODI World Cup and now BCCI has extended his contract. BCCI has issued an official order in this regard.

There were rumors that Rahul Dravid will become the mentor of an IPL 2024 any franchise after the Indian cricket team’s coaching period is over. VVS Laxman worked as a coach for the series against Australia held right after the World Cup 2023. Besides, it was said that VVS Laxman, who is the head of NCA, will become the coach of Team India.

But now BCCI has appointed Rahul Dravid as the coach of Indian cricket team again. But the duration of Rahul Dravid’s new contract is yet to be revealed. It is said that Rahul Dravid has been appointed after Ashish Nehra, who is the coach of Gujarat Titans team, did not agree to become the coach for T20 cricket.

Rahul Dravid will be the coach for the second time for the upcoming series against South Africa. India will play 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 2 Tests against South Africa from December 10. Along with Rahul Dravid, BCCI has also extended the tenure of other assistant coaches.
