Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: BJP Manifesto to release today

The Bharatiya Janata Party is expected to release its poll manifesto today for the May 10 Karnataka elections. The manifesto will be released by party president JP Nadda in presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. The party is expected to make promises for the development of various sections of the society.  Some reports says that the party is likely to make promises for girls passing class 12th in the state, youths, development of basic infrastructure, law and order, and women empowerment.

One of the party leaders claimed that the manifesto will work to add new features to the development of the state and will lead to progress by giving a new direction to the state. BJP National President J.P. Nadda will release the BJP Manifesto at a function to be held at a private hotel today at 10 am.

Clash between BJP-Congress workers in Bengaluru: Four workers injured

A scuffle broke out between BJP and Congress workers in the Bommanahalli assembly constituency in Bengaluru and four Congress workers were injured.

Four Congress workers were injured in a scuffle between supporters of Congress candidate Umapati and supporters of BJP candidate Satish Reddy from Bommanahalli constituency. The Congress had complained to the election officials that sarees were collected at the DSS office in Bommanahalli.

Later, the Election Officers raided and seized 50 sarees with BJP Satish Reddy’s photo on them. This time, there was a commotion between Congress and BJP workers. The incident took place in Bommanahalli police station.
