Kukke Subrahmanya Champa Shashti: Only Hindus are allowed to set up shop in festival

Champa shashti celebrations in famous pilgrimage Kukke Subrahmanya constituency. For the past two years, Champashashti festival was cancelled due to Covid-19. But this time there is a possibility of a large crowd, the temple committee and local administrations are making necessary preparations. Appearing in the name of ‘Hindu Jagran Vedike, Subrahmanya Unit’, the slogan of this banner ends with ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha’. Champa Shashti and Brahmarathotsava will be held on this 29th at Kukke Subrahmanya Temple under Mujarai Department.

Traders used to set up shops and do business in temple fairs without caste and creed discrimination from the beginning. However, in the banner that has appeared now, it is said in the banner that ‘business transactions of non-religious people are prohibited in this environment during Kukke Subramanya Champa shashti’.

A complaint has been filed by the Subrahmanya unit of the Hindu Jagran Vedike that ‘non-Hindus should not be allowed to do business during the Kukke Subrahmanya Jatra’. The Lakshdeepotsava of Lord Kukke Subrahmanya on the occasion of the new moon of the Kartika month was celebrated on Wednesday.
