Weather Report: According to the India Meteorological Department, today March 5, a fresh Western Disturbance will be active in the Western Himalayan region, which may bring changes in the country’s weather. As a result, there are chances of rain and snowfall in the hilly states.

At the same time, light rain is likely over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. According to the weather department, a fresh western disturbance will be active over the western Himalayan region on March 5. This may again bring about changes in the climate of the country.

As a result, there are chances of rain and snowfall in the hilly states. At the same time, light rain is likely over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. According to weather update, the Western Disturbance is currently observed as a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and its neighbourhood, 3.1 km to 12.6 km above mean sea level.

It is now seen as a trough in the mid-tropical westerly winds, with its axis at an altitude of 5.8 km above sea level. Changes in seasonal activities are seen due to the recent Western Disturbance.

Delhi weather update:

Cooler air from the hilly areas has reduced the temperature slightly in Delhi. However, there is no chance of rain in the country’s capital Delhi this whole week. According to the IMD, the minimum temperature in Delhi may remain between 9 to 14 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature is between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius.

According to weather forecasting, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the West Himalayan region from the night of March 05 due to which, sporadic light/moderate rain is likely to occur over the west Himalayan region during March 05 to 07. At the same time, a fresh and relatively weak western disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of 05 March 2024.

Besides, there are chances of occasional rain and snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on March 04. Strong winds (30-40 kmph) accompanied by thunder and lightning over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim on March 04.The IMD has warned of heavy rain or snowfall in isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain and snowfall will reduce in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from March 4.
