Weather Report: Heavy Rainfall and thunderstorm alert in these districts

Rain is likely in most parts of the state from September 7 to 8. According to weather department, there is a depression in the northwest and surrounding parts of West Central Bay of Bengal near the coast of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh.

The weather department has predicted that it will rain in most of the districts for the next 3 days from today. According to the department, heavy rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the hilly districts.

According to weather department, there is a depression in the northwest and surrounding parts of West Central Bay of Bengal near the coast of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. It is expected to move in a westerly direction over South Odisha and South Chhattisgarh.

Monsoon on the other hand is now reaching southeast through Ganganagar, Hisar, Meerut, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Raipur. A cyclonic circulation is seen over Punjab and surrounding areas. According to the agency, light rain is likely over Bihar, Northeast India, Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka, South Gujarat, East Rajasthan and Western Himalayas today.

Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, Konkan and Goa may receive light to moderate rain. Along with this, heavy rain is likely over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, parts of North Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and parts of Kerala today.

Karnataka Weather Report:

There has been a depression in the Bay of Bengal, as a result of which heavy rainfall will occur in some districts of Karnataka. Due to extreme weather conditions, there is a possibility of increasing the air pressure.
Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur districts are likely to receive maximum rainfall on September 7.

An alert has been declared somewhere in this background. On the other hand, heavy rains will fall in the coastal districts on September 9 and 10. Yellow alert has been issued for Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts.
