IMD has predicted that there will be heavy rainfall in many places including Karnataka, West Bengal and Delhi for next 3 days.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be heavy rainfall in many places including Karnataka, West Bengal and Delhi for next 3 days. Everywhere the cold weather is over and the heat is increasing day by day. North-East and East part of India are forecast to witness rain accompanied by a storm.

Earlier, rain was recorded in many parts of central India. It rained in some parts of Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Along with northern parts of Odisha, East Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh also received rain with strong winds. Climate is also changing in Delhi and surrounding areas.

Strong winds are also blowing in Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and surrounding areas. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Mizoram and thundershowers are forecast.

Heavy Rainfall Alert in Karnataka:

There is a possibility of rain in South Kannada, Bidar, Dharwad, Vijaypur, Kalaburagi, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu districts of Karnataka. Weather in Bangalore is cloudy, 34.6 degree Celsius maximum temperature in HAL, 20.0 degree Celsius minimum temperature, 35.4 degree Celsius maximum temperature in the city, 21.0 degree Celsius minimum temperature, 35.1 degree Celsius in KIAL.

Maximum temperature, 35.0 degree Celsius in GKVK Maximum temperature, 20.0 degree Celsius minimum temperature recorded. Kalaburagi recorded the maximum temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius, Chamarajanagar recorded the minimum temperature of 17.0 degrees Celsius.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning over the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar and Alipurduar for the next five days.

Additionally, a new Western Disturbance is set to affect the West Himalayan region from March 26 night, which will bring scattered light rain with thunder and lightning over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, isolated to snowfall over Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on from March 26 to March 29. Rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in Rajasthan on Monday.

Meanwhile, the national capital recorded a maximum temperature of 29.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the seasonal average as reported by the IMD. Partly cloudy weather is expected on Monday with minimum and maximum temperatures hovering around 16 and 32 degrees Celsius.
