Heavy rainfall alert in these states including Karnataka for next 3 days

Heavy rainfall alert Karnataka : The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall alert in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and North East India for the next two to three days. ‘Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive heavy rains from October 06 for the next 2-3 days. Heavy rainfall alert in these states including Karnataka for next 3 days.

The Indian Meteorological Department IMD tweeted that heavy rainfall alert will occur over most parts of East and Northeast India in the next 3-4 days.  Heavy rainfall alert The withdrawal path of Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through Jammu, Una, Chandigarh, Karnal, Baghpat, Delhi, Alwar, Jodhpur and Nalia. Another cyclonic circulation is located in and around northeast Bay of Bengal and extends to mid-tropospheric levels.

It is likely to merge with the above system from tomorrow, October 3, 2022. Northeast monsoon season (October to December 2022) rainfall is normal (88-112% of long term average (LPA)) in southern peninsular India comprising Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikkal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe and southern inland Karnataka.

Above Heavy rainfall alert is likely over most parts of India except some parts of North-West India and some parts of North-East India. In October 2022, above normal rainfall is likely over most parts of India except small areas in southern tip and northern part of the country. Monthly rainfall over the country during October 2022 will be above normal (115% above long period average (LPA).

In October, normal to below normal maximum temperatures are observed over most parts of the country except many parts of North East and North West India and some parts of East India. Above normal minimum temperatures are likely over most parts of the country except some parts of northwest India and southern parts of the peninsula.
