The price change in 24 carat gold over the last one week has been -0.6%, while in the last month it has shown a decrease of -1.48%. The cost of silver is Rs 74800 per kg, reflecting an increase of Rs.1300.0 per kg.

The gold June 2024 MCX futures were trading at Rs 65184.0 per 10 gm, down by 0.175% at the time of publishing. The silver May 2024 MCX futures were trading at Rs.73106.0 per kg, down by 0.365% at the time of publishing.

Gold Price Record high On Tuesday, gold rose by Rs 800 to reach a record high of Rs 65,000 per 10 grams in Delhi bullion market. During this period, silver also rose by Rs 900 and reached the price of Rs 74,900 per kg. Amid strong global trend, gold rose by Rs 800 to reach a record high of Rs 65,000 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Tuesday.

In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 64,200 per 10 grams. During this period, silver also rose by Rs 900 and reached the price of Rs 74,900 per kg. In the previous trading session, it had closed at Rs 74,000 per kg. Taking cues from foreign markets, the spot price of 24 carat gold in Delhi bullion market rose by Rs 800 to Rs 65,000 per 10 grams.
In the international markets, the spot price of gold on Comex rose by more than one percent to $ 2,110 an ounce. Gold prices saw a rise due to speculation about interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve in June. Thus, in the last three days, gold prices on MCX saw a rise of more than Rs 2,400.

In major cities including Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 10 grams of 24K gold was Rs 64,850. 24K gold price in Chennai was Rs 65,620 per 10 grams. Like gold, silver prices rose by Rs 900 to Rs 74,900 per kg compared to Rs 74,000 per kg in the previous close.
