Bank Holidays: Bank will remain close 14 days from December 3

Banks would be closed for up to 14 days in December, This includes the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays. Apart from the weekly offs, banks will remain closed in various states due to other holidays. Bank Holidays: Bank will remain close 14 days from December 3.

People across the country will celebrate a number of festivals and special occasions, including the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangma, Goa Liberation Day, Christmas, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Birthday, Losoong/Namsoong, U Kiang Nangbah and New Year’s Eve.

Although, since all states will not be celebrating all the above-mentioned festivals and special days, banks will be closed as per the state’s celebration and won’t be shut concurrently. Nonetheless, to avoid any inconvenience and to complete your task effectively, compile a list of essential days when banks will be closed before visiting your bank branch in December.

It is important to note that many bank holidays are may differ from state to state and bank to bank. There are 14 bank holidays in December. Out of which six are weekend holidays and other 8 as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar list.

In December, the Karnataka government has announced holidays on the following days. December 12, the second week of Saturday as Bank Holiday; December 25, on account of Christmas and on December 26, the fourth week of Saturday as Bank Holiday.
