Bank Holidays: 9 days holiday for banks from March 17

According to the RBI calendar, there are 14 days of holidays in the entire month of March, out of which there are 9 holidays from March 17 itself.

Bank Holidays: As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) calendar bank will close 14 days in month of March. There is number of holidays in the month of March. It includes five Sundays and two Saturdays. There are nine days off from March 17 to 31.

Holi and Good Friday are during this period. Banks will be closed on Good Friday in Karnataka. Holi is a holiday in many parts of North India. According to the RBI calendar, there are 14 days of holidays in the entire month of March, out of which there are 9 holidays from March 17 itself.

The next week has Holi festival and Good Friday festival. Banks close their doors on different days in different places (Bank Holidays). Banks are closed on Good Friday Festival in Karnataka. Apart from that, Sunday holidays, second and fourth Saturdays are also included. There are five Sunday holidays in the month of March. March 26, Tuesday: Second Day of Holi Festival (Bank Holiday in Bhubaneswar, Imphal and Patna)

March 27, Wednesday: Holi Festival (Bank Holiday in Patna)

March 29: Good Friday Festival (holiday except Agartala, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Shimla and Srinagar)

March 31: Sunday

ATM, online, net banking etc. are available 24 hours even if there is a holiday for banks. Banking services can be availed using UPI platform. FD, RD etc. plans can also be availed online.
