7th Pay Commission: Good news, Government employees will get 2 years additional leave
Under this, these employees can now take leave with pay for up to two years during their tenure. This leave is granted by the government for a maximum period of 2 years for the maintenance of two children.
There is important news for central government employees. The Central Government in consultation with the state governments has amended the rules relating to leave for employees. According to this, employees can take leave with pay for up to two years.
The Central Government has amended the rules relating to leave for eligible members of the All India Service (AIS). Under this, these employees can now take leave with pay for up to two years during their tenure. This leave is granted by the government for a maximum period of 2 years for the maintenance of two children.
Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has recently released a new notification. This notification was issued on July 28. Under this, the All India Service Child Leave Rules, 1995 were amended by the central government in consultation with the state governments.
730 days leave for taking care of 2 children:
An AIS woman or man member is granted 730 days leave during the entire service period for maintenance of two children. Parents can avail this leave before the children turn 18. This leave is given for childcare duties like parental responsibility, education, illness etc.
How much money is given on leave? :
Under parental leave, members are paid 100% pay for the first 365 days of leave during full service. 80 percent of salary is paid during the second 365 days of leave.
Separate Account for Vacation:
Child leave account cannot be combined with other leaves, the notification said. It will be given exclusively to members. Child care leave benefits are not provided to employees during the probationary period.
Central government will soon increase DA and DR for employees and pensioners. Along with this, the government will also increase the fitment factor of the employees, sources said. Soon the Modi government will make an announcement about this.

Increase in Bereavement Allowance:
DA is expected to increase by 4% this time. In this case, the total gratuity of the employees will increase to 46 percent. This will lead to a huge increase in the total salary. Employees are currently getting 42 percent DA.
