Valentines Day : OYO room bookings 51 percent increased in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: As the fear of covid epidemic subsides, tourist travel has also increased to some extent and now it is reported that OYO room bookings in Bengaluru have increased by 51% on Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day celebration: OYO room bookings 51 percent increase in Bangalore.

Ever since the arrival of the deadly Corona virus, it felt like there were no people in the tourist spots, now they are planning to travel again after the fear of Covid has subsided. Especially, most of the tourists are going to reduce the beach places and enjoy the city life including the hill stations.

Especially this time Valentine’s Day has been celebrated happily without any fear of Corona. Especially since Bangalore is at the second position in the list of preferred destinations for lovers, compared to 2022, OYO room booking period has increased. The company said it has increased from 2 days to 4 days this year.

Uttar Pradesh’s Vrindavan recorded a 231 percent increase in hotel bookings compared to last year. Bengaluru is second (51 percent) and Hyderabad is third (47 percent) with an increase.

Other cities that saw the highest number of OYO bookings were Pune (45 per cent), Kolkata (38 per cent), Chennai (35 per cent) and Mumbai (19 per cent). Overall, OYO recorded nearly 35 percent increase in hotel bookings on its platform on Valentine’s Day.

OYO’s CEO Ritesh Agarwal informed that OYO room bookings, which had seen a decline due to the Covid pandemic, have seen a sudden increase on Valentine’s Day 2023.
