The incident which took place on Wednesday in Nandanavan village of Byndur taluk of the district where a young man was attacked by knife for a trivial reason came to light late on Wednesday. Udupi knife attack: one seriously injured.
Prasanna had gone for lunch with his friend Manoj Kharvi. Meanwhile, Sudarshan and Yatish were standing outside the hotel. An argument took place between Sudarshan and Prasanna. Sudarshan runs away after attacking Prasanna with a knife. The injured Prasanna has been treated at Manipal Hospital.

Pro-Hindu organizations have called for a bandh in Tipaturu town of Tumkur district today condemning the killing of BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru. Many pro-Hindu organizations including Bajrang Dal, Hindu Defense Forum have called for Tipatur bandh today to condemn the killing of Praveen Nettaru. Most of the shops on BH Road in Tipaturu city have been closed due to the call of bandh by pro-Hindu organizations. Shop fronts were closed and extensive support was given.
