Terrible accident in Chitradurga: Bike collided with a bullock cart; Two boys died on the spot

Challakere (Chitradurga) : A terrible accident has taken place in Challakere, two boys have been tragically killed after a bike collided with a bullock cart. It is said that two boys who were studying SSLC were going on a bike today to fetch firecrackers and lost control and collided with an oncoming bullock cart. As a result, two people died on the spot.

The incident took place near Chauluru Gate of Challakere-Pavagad, Challakere Taluk of Chitradurga District. The deceased have been identified as Kiran (15) and Dilip (14) of Allapur village. It is said that the deceased students belonged to the same family, and the grief of the family has reached its peak.

Liquor worth Rs 35 lakh seized illegally in Chikkaballapur

Chikkaballapur: Chikkaballapur Excise officials have seized 13, 800 liters of liquor worth Rs 35 lakh, which was being smuggled illegally. The officials of the department have taken custody near Agalagurki village on National Highway 44.

The liquor belongs to Sona Beverages Company of Chhattisgarh, and the period of permission obtained for transporting liquor expired on April 2, however, it has been learned that 13,800 liters of liquor valued at Rs 35 lakhs were seized illegally due to the suspicion of illegally transporting liquor.
