Siddeshwar Swamiji (82) is dead and devotees are coming not only from the state but also from outside the state for Swamiji’s final darshan. Siddeshwara shree was a saint of all religions, he never discriminated against caste and religion, he said that all human beings are the same. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Karnataka seer Siddeshwara Swami, who passed away due to age-related ailments on Monday. PM Modi remembered his outstanding service to society and prayed for his departed soul. Narendra Modi on Monday paid tribute to Karnataka seer Siddeshwara Swami, who passed away due to age-related ailments at his ashram today.The 82-year-old Karnataka seer was suffering from various ailments but had refused to take treatment other than pain relief. He had been facing age-related ailments for several weeks and had been confined to a wheelchair.

PM Modi tweeted, “Paramapujya Sri Siddheshwara Swami Ji will be remembered for his outstanding service to society. He worked tirelessly for the betterment of others and was also respected for his scholarly zeal. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with his countless devotees. Om Shanti.”He also shared several pictures with the seer.

The seer of the Sri Jnana Yogashrama of Vijayapura breathed his last at his ashram on Monday. He was in hospital as he was suffering from various ailments but had refused to take treatment. Later, Siddeshwara Swami was shifted to his ashram.His mortal remains will be kept at his ashram till 8 am on Tuesday. After that, his body will be kept at Sainik School till evening 5 pm and will be taken for final cremation from there.

Former Karnataka CM HD Deve Gowda tweeted, “The news of Sri Siddeshwar Swamiji of Jnana Yogashram, Vijaypur, the greatest saint of the country, spiritual preacher, has become a Lingayaka has caused great sadness. I pray that his soul, who was known as a walking god, may rest in eternal peace and that his devotees may be given strength to overcome this grief.”

JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy also paid tribute to the spiritual leader and tweeted, “For us, the walking light, the walking awareness, the walking God, the Jnana Yogi Paramapujya Sri Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji of Jnana Yogashram is Shivaikya.”
