The Basavaraj Bommai government has agreed to discuss the implementation of the old pension scheme. The employees are protesting demanding implementation of old pension scheme for government employees. CM Bommai gave a response on National Pension Scheme.
Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said that the government will take an appropriate decision after a comprehensive discussion in the House. Already thousands of retired employees are protesting to continue the old pension. Members of the ruling and opposition parties have demanded that the government should take appropriate action.

The members have brought to the attention of the House about the continuation of the old pension system in different states, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and other states have continued the old pension system, finally the opinions of all the members will be collected and a decision will be taken.
