Mysore Police inspector ready to joins politics as resigned from the post

Chamarajanagar: B. Puttaswamy, who is working as a police inspector in the Civil Rights Enforcement Directorate of Mysore, has resigned from his post. It is said that he has political ambitions and has quit his post to contest in the next assembly elections (Karnataka politics). He is a BJP ticket aspirant from Kollegala constituency in Chamaraja Nagar district. Kollegala is a reserved assembly constituency and now N Mahesh is the MLA. N. Mahesh had earlier won from BSP. Later he resigned from BSP and remained a non-party member for some time. Later joined BJP. Puttaswamy’s entry comes at a time when he is seeking a BJP ticket in the next election. B. Puttaswamy has been serving in the police department for 27 years and has risen step by step. He entered the department through the post of constable, became a sub-inspector and later became a police inspector. He served in Chamarajanagar, Kollegala, Ramapura, Agra-Mambali, Hunsur police stations and resigned after 13 years of service.

B.Puttuswamy already had large fan base

B.Puttaswamy has already created a fan base. Apart from that, B. Puttaswamy is involved in many service works in Kolegala field through Seva Trust. B.Puttaswamy has submitted his resignation after serving 27 years as a police constable, PSI, inspector, with 13 years of service remaining. He confirmed  that he has resigned.

B. Puttaswamy has performed duty in Chamarajanagar, Kollegala rural, Ramapura, KRS station, Agra-Mambali, Hunsur police stations. Also, B.Puttaswamy has engaged us in many service works in the field through Seva Trust.

Increases in the number of BJP aspirants

With the entry of Puttaswamy, the number of BJP ticket aspirants has increased in Kollegala constituency. There is a big competition for the BJP ticket between sitting MLA N. Mahesh, former MLA GN Nanjundaswamy, B. Puttaswamy who has now voluntarily retired, BJP leaders Kinakalli Rachaiah, MP V. Srinivas Prasad’s son-in-law Dr. Mohan.
