Karnataka JDS candidates list: Former chief minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy, who turned 64, celebrated his birthday on Friday in Ramanagara. The ticket aspirants who were eagerly waiting for the release of the first list of candidates for the 2023 assembly elections (Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023) are disappointed. However, now Kumaraswamy himself has responded about this and said that the date has been fixed for the release of the list of candidates on Monday (December 19). Speaking at Guddahalli in Ramanagara taluk, Kumaraswamy said that the list of JDS candidates should have been released yesterday (December 16). He had said that there should be no politics on the religious platform.

We have postponed it to avoid violation of TTD guidelines. He clarified that the first list of JDS candidates will be released on Monday. While commenting on Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s contest in Ramanagara constituency, HDK said that there is no problem regarding candidate selection in Ramanagara. Finally the activists decide the candidate.

I have told the workers to choose the candidate themselves. He said that he will bow to the decision of our workers. Ramanagara is the field where I was brought up. Anita has also done well in Ramanagara constituency. Anitha Kumaraswamy also has a good opinion. Our workers will finally decide whether Nikhil should stand or Anitha Kumaraswamy should stand, he said.

A list of 96 to 116 candidates has been prepared based on the advice of statisticians, and earlier the release date was fixed in November itself. But, times are not good. So HD Revanna advised not to release the list. Accordingly, Kumaraswamy had decided to announce the first list on December 16 in his birthday program.

However, the list of candidates has not been published saying that there should be no politics in the religious platform. It is known that most of the sitting MLAs have been nominated in the first list except for a few. There is a possibility that the names of the candidates who have only one ticket aspirant in one constituency will also be published in the first list.

Now finally the date for the release of the first list has been fixed on December 19 and the aspirants are worried whether they will get the ticket or not. There are rumors that Ramanagara MLA Anitha Kumaraswamy will sacrifice the assembly seat for her son Nikhil. In this background, it is interesting that the name of Nikhil Kumaraswamy is in the first list.
