The state government has issued an order increasing the monthly honorarium of gram panchayat president, vice president and members. Karnataka govt Increased honorarium of President, Vice President, Members of Grama Panchayat.

Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department has ordered to increase the honorarium of Grama Panchayat (GP) President’s honorarium 3 thousand to 6 thousand, GP Vice President’s honorarium 2 thousand to 4 thousand, GP members from 1 thousand to 2 thousand.

Recently Karnataka Government gave good news to guest teachers of Government Primary and High Schools. An order was issued to increase the honorarium of guest teachers by two and a half thousand rupees. Honorary remuneration was increased Rs.2500.

CM Basavaraja Bommai said that weavers will be given loans up to 2 lakhs at zero interest rate. Talking to the media persons in the city, some decisions were taken after discussing the problems of the weavers. It has been decided to give 50% subsidy as per the demand of weavers.

Assistance will be given to the labourers working in power loom. The government will take measures to cover the cottage industries of weavers working at home and purchase the cloths produced by the weavers. Actions will be taken to implement the system of purchasing uniforms from here.

Extension of Vidyanidhi scheme for children of weavers. Assistance from the government to help organized workers. CM Basavaraja Bommai said that we will announce the grant in the next budget.

During the year 2021-22, Rs.990.88 lakhs was released to 49,544 weavers through DBT under the Nekara Samman Yojana. Financial assistance to registered handloom weavers under Nekara Samman scheme has been increased from Rs.2,000/- to Rs.5,000/- as per budget 2022-23. So far 46,864 applications have been reviewed and approved.
