Karnataka Election 2023: The date has been fixed for the much awaited Karnataka assembly elections, polling for 224 constituencies will be held in a single phase on May 10. In this context, the state Chief Electoral Officer will hold an important press conference today. Karnataka Election 2023 will be held in a single phase on May 10 in 224 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Karnataka. The result will be declared on May 13. The code of conduct will be implemented in the state from today, the notification will be published on April 13, and the nomination submission will begin from then. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that April 20 is the last day for nomination submission.

First time option of voting from home for persons with disability and senior citizens in Karnataka. 73,200 PwD and senior citizens voted from home in five previous state polls. The total number of 80+ year-old electors stand at 12.15 lakh, Total electors in Karnataka are 5.2 crore, says CEC Rajiv Kumar. Out of the over 5.21 crore electors in Karnataka, 5.55 lakh are PwD electors.
