Earlier, due to Corona lockdown, alcoholics were struggling without getting liquor. Keep these three dates in your head so that the same thing does not happen now.  For Karnataka Assembly Election alcohol is not getting for three days. From the midnight of May 8th to the midnight of May 10th, liquor will not available in state.

Voting will be held on May 10. Therefore, alcohol will be banned in the state one day earlier. Since the result will be on May 13, liquor will not be available from midnight of May 12 to midnight of May 13. Restrictions have been imposed on the sale and transportation of liquor in the interest of peace, law and order and public interest.

This restriction will also apply to liquor stores, bars and restaurants, distilleries that make liquor, star hotels and liquor stores. Liquor ban will be implemented in Nilanga, Dewani and Udgir taluks of Latur district of Maharashtra bordering Karnataka. 5 km from Karnataka border alcohol cannot be sold in villages, cities and towns of other states. If this rule is broken, a heavy fine will have to be paid.
