International Women Day 2023: Women will get free travel on all BMTC buses with Volvo on March 8

Bengaluru: International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8. On this day, tomorrow, women will be allowed to travel free in all BMTC Buses in Bengaluru. Through this, BMTC has given good news to women. In this regard information has been released by BMTC in a press release, currently BMTC has 48 units, 50 bus stations and a strength of 6600 vehicles. International Women Day: Women will get free travel on all BMTC buses with Volvo on March 8.

It said that every day 5567 buses cover 10.84 lakh kilometers with 54 thousand rounds and provide transportation facility to an average of 29 lakh passengers as per the demands. On March 8, 2023, as part of International Women’s Day, women will be able to travel free of charge on all services of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation.

It has been estimated that if women are allowed to travel in BMTC buses for free in all buses on World Women’s Day, the organization would have incurred an estimated cost of Rs.8.17 crore. Women can travel free on all BMTC buses including Volvo from today midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow. BMTC said to make good use of this opportunity.
