More than 10 districts of the state are predicted to receive rain for the next 2 days. Some districts of the state have received rain this week. According to weather department forecast, there will be rain in coastal, southern hinterland and northern hinterland of Karnataka for the next 2 days. There has been a slight increase in temperature in the state since Friday and thundershowers are forecast.
Bengaluru city cloudy weather may develop in the evening. Despite the rise in temperature in the city, the Meteorological Department has not given any forecast for rainfall alert. So the people of the garden city have to face the scorching summer heat. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, it will rain in Belagavi, Vijayapur, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Bagalkote, Kalaburagi, Bidar and Koppal districts. Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Shivamogga districts are also expected to receive thundershowers.

Many districts of South Karnataka have rainfall alert this week. In that too, the rains in Hassan disrupted the life of the people. Four people died due to thunderstorms that lashed different parts of the state on Friday. 13 cattle died.
