A Dalit student was attacked for not wearing a Dattamala. I have done some brainstorming on the subject of assault. Hindu organizations have been given a deadline to apologize. Hindu organizations were outraged by MLA TD Rajegowda’s statement and called for an apology within 24 hours or else they would protest across the district.

On January 24, Sringeri Congress MLA TD Rajegowda made a controversial statement. The Congress leader allegedly hurled abuses at the BJP and RSS leaders. TD Rajegowda has allegedly mocked the Hindu astha and said that “faith will not help you build homes.

“The MLA from Karnataka’s Sringeri can be also heard using the “children of prostitute” abuse. He allegedly says in the audio clip, “You stick donning shawls, kumkum and go to Datta Peeta. Will that give you food?” Hindu organizations have expressed outrage against MLA TD Rajegowda for allegedly hurting their sentiment.

BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers are expected to hold a protest today and demand MLA TD Rajegowda apologises publicly. Meanwhile, TD Rajegowda has condemned the statements and urged for peace across the district.
