Constitution is the strength of India; Prime Minister Narendra Modi said

New Delhi: Constitution Day 2022; Be it an individual or an organization, our duties should be given first priority. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he will bow down to the architect of the Constitution. Constitution is the greatest strength of India. India is the mother of democracy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Constitution of the country is open and future-oriented .

Speaking at the Constitution Day program held at the Supreme Court , he said that whether it is an individual or an organization, our duties should be given first priority. In today’s global situation, the whole world is looking at India. The country is developing rapidly. Modi said that the entire world has high expectations of India as it has emerged as the fastest growing economy and has increased global influence.

New opportunities lie ahead for India. Our country is moving forward beyond all obstacles. In one week we will take over the presidency of the G-20 countries. We should all work together to increase India’s prestige in front of the world. This is our collective duty, said the Prime Minister.

Tribute to Mumbai attack victims

Today marks 14 years since the Mumbai terror attacks. At a time when India was celebrating its constitution and citizens’ rights, the enemies of humanity launched their biggest attack on India. Modi said he would pay his respects to those who lost their lives in the attack.

Modi said that we are the architect of the constitution

Before leaving to participate in the program, Modi had tweeted, ‘Today is Constitution Day. I pay respect to those who framed our constitution. We have to show commitment towards fulfilling the vision he had for our country.’

‘Constitution in Gujarati Language’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was active in making the Constitution of India and its provisions accessible to the common people even before assuming office as Prime Minister. In 2010, then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi organized the ‘Samvidhan Gaurav’ Yatra. Even then, a historic procession was held in Surendranagar, Gujarat, where a huge replica of the Constitution was carried on an elephant. In 2011, some media reported that the Gujarati version of the constitution was launched.

In the meantime, each of the handwritten notes said to have been written by Modi regarding the Constitution in 1999 has been shared on the Twitter handle ‘Modi Archive’. ‘Constitution has completed 50 years. There needs to be a nationwide debate on whether our duty or our rights can lead the nation. How can nation-building become a mass movement in the next century?’ A copy of the handwritten tweet said to have been written by Modi.
