Mangaluru: Coronavirus numbers are on the rise in Dakshina Kannada district and another corona case has been registered today. A 47-year-old woman resident of Nerikombu in Bantwal taluk in Dakshina Kannada district has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The woman was working at First Neuro Private Hospital in Mangalore.
She has given treatment for the old women who died on April 21 due to corona. The hospital was locked down just as old women died of corona. More than 20 staff members of the hospital have been subjected to quarantine, and now the Corona positive report has been issued to the woman working in the hospital, and the rest of the staff is yet to arrive.
The corona area is sealed down as the corona positive for the woman confirms. This has increased the number of Corona sufferers to 5 in the Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. In the state, only one corona positive case has been registered today, while the number of corona cases in the state has increased to 501.
