List of bank holidays is published under Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday, Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, Banks Closing of Accounts Rules. According to the RBI time table, there will be 11 days holiday for banks in January and this will be applicable for private, government owned, foreign, cooperative and regional banks as well.
There will be four regional and national holidays. RBI has requested that customers should plan their banking activities accordingly. However, UPI, net banking, ATM services will be available.
