Dasara Festival: South Western Railway announced Special Train From Bengaluru

The special service will operate in both directions to accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive season.

To manage the surge in passenger traffic during the weekend and the Dasara festival, South Western Railway has announced a special express train between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT), Bengaluru, and Belagavi.

The special service will operate in both directions to accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive season.

Bengaluru-Belagavi Special Express:

Train No. 06563, the SMVT Bengaluru-Belagavi Special Express, will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 7:00 PM on October 16 and arrive in Belagavi at 8:25 AM the following day.

On the return journey, Train No. 06564, the Belagavi-SMVT Bengaluru Special Express, will leave Belagavi at 5:30 PM on October 17 and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 5:00 AM the next day.

The special train will halt at Chikkabanavara, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davanagere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, and Khanapur in both directions.

According to South Western Railway, the special express will consist of 18 coaches, including one AC 2-tier coach, three AC 3-tier coaches, eight sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two second-class luggage-cum-brake vans with compartments for persons with disabilities.
